When It Hurts To Write

Last time I posted it really was my intention to be caught up by now, and even do some posts about soap making that one of my readers requested. However, for the last week pain in my back and right arm, due to a pinched nerve, has prevented me from spending much time on my computer. Even sitting at my desk scrolling through articles will trigger the pain. Yesterday I began chiropractic treatment, but because of the holiday tomorrow I will not have a second treatment until Monday. I have also begun a couple of exercises that seem to help relieve the pain, but until I find more relief I’m afraid I will be taking a bit of a blogging break. Hopefully it won’t be long.

To all of my U.S. readers we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.

I’ll just leave you with this picture of one of my sewing projects from last week.

My sister gifted me this fabric. As I was wondering what I would do with it she said “You need a Christmas apron don’t you?” So here it is – because everybody needs a Christmas apron – Right?

P.S. Thanks K.C. 😀

    1. Hi Linda. Thanks for asking. Sometimes it seems like it’s getting better but then it starts acting up again. I am managing ok and keeping busy just not sitting at the computer much or crocheting because those things are most uncomfortable. Keep an eye on the weather today and make sure your flashlight is at the ready. It could get nasty this afternoon.

      1. Hi Ruth – that is rough, especially this time of year because heavier clothes or coats can cause discomfort as well – they are heavy and just lifting them or over your arms/shoulders to get those clothes on can be painful.. I hope that the break from the computer and crocheting will ease the pain for you. I am such a weather worrier that this weather is so worrisome. I worried this past Monday with the high winds and we may have another bout of high winds the end of next week. I do have a flashlight ready and hope I don’t need to use it to get the headlamp or lanterns. There are 85,000 people without power right now … more if you count Consumers folks. That’s terrible, but the tornadoes in Kentucky are so horrifying. Feel better Ruth.

      1. Hey Ruth, yes l know, when we are unwell, it is never at the right time, because there never is a right time sadly to be ill.

Well hope all goes well 🙂
