Hello and welcome.
Let me start by apologizing for my long absence from the blog. I won’t give a bunch of excuses for not writing because honestly the many things that have kept my mind occupied and body busy over the last several weeks have not necessarily prevented me from blogging. I will say that I plan to start posting again on a more regular basis.
Even though it’s way late in the month I don’t want to skip our monthly inspiration, mostly because in the many trials our family has experienced over the past several weeks, I have found myself repeatedly thanking God for His love, for his goodness and for answered prayers. I’m also sharing these verses because next week we, in the USA, celebrate our Thanksgiving holiday.
Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings. ~ William Arthur Ward
Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for. ~ Zig Ziglar
18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 New International Version
Thanks for visiting. What are you thankful for today?
I’m grateful that 2024 brought a reprieve in my husband’s cancer journey. We got joyous news this week from his oncologist that his cancer seems to be in remission for now and the immunotherapy is working.

I’m grateful to the earth for providing everything we need. I don’t need anything beyond this, physically or emotionally.

Thank you, Linda. It’s not looking to be that way. My dad is in the hospital right now and when released the plan will be for him to go to rehab. Right now we are taking things one moment at a time and I am blessed to have such a supportive husband and sisters. I also know that my strength during these trying times comes from God.

I’m sorry to hear that about your dad Ruth. It’s always tough when a parent is not doing well and in the hospital. I envy you with your family because they will make it easier to get through these trials and tribulations and yes, God will be there in trying times too. I know you will help your dad and his dog as best you can. I have been there with my mom, so I will keep you in my prayers.
