Wordless Wednesday Recap

Last week I invited readers to caption some photos that I posted. My husband and I enjoyed reading all of your creative thoughts on the photos. We also found ourselves coming up with several of our own captions. I thought I would share them with you.

“Let’s do the ‘People Dance'”

or

“Roast us!”

“I just adore a penthouse view.”

or

“Did someone call for a Door Dash?”

“I heard this is where all the chicks hang out.”

or

“When the beagle’s away the bunnies will play.”

If you click on the link below you can see the original post and the captions that all the other readers contributed.

It’s not too late to join in the fun. Feel free to add captions in the comments box below. Let me know if you enjoyed “Caption the Photo”. I might do it again it the future.

Thanks for visiting.

  1. I like all your captions Ruth (and hubby). Ha ha – Ranger got into the spirit of things as well. 🙂 Yes, this was fun and I am sure you always have cute and fun pics to share with us about “life on the farm”. How’s the newest batch of Killdeer chicks doing – are they running through the potato patch like the first ones?

    1. Thanks, Linda. I thought you would like this – you always have clever title for your posts. It seemed that only one baby killdeer was left. I’m not sure if it was the second or third batch. It is flying now too and I’m not seeing the parents around it like they were. They grow up so fast.

      1. Yes, I do think it’s a fun idea Ruth – something to smile about as we muddle our way through Summer. 🙂 I do have fun with my post titles! I hope to see baby Killdeer one day – my Sunday post will be the rest of the walk the day I saw the eight nests at the Wildlife Refuge that I showed the Mama-to-be Killdeer in my Mother’s Day post. But I returned once after that, just for a few minutes and saw maybe a Juvenile – its tail was short and fuzzy and it was kind of shy, so I took some photos of it. They do grow up fast … the goslings’ growth always amazes me!
