Hello Everyone.
Life has been very busy around here – but a good busy.
I am working on a post to bring you all up to date on our activities and hopefully I’ll have it done in a couple of days, but in the meantime, I will leave you with our monthly inspiration.
From my 2023 wall calendar: “The truth will set you free.” John 8:32. The birds appear to be black capped chickadees and I believe the tree is a white birch tree.
You might notice I’m still trying to figure out the new camera. Despite my efforts the date and time are still on the photos and for some reason while the lower right of this photo seems to be in focus the upper left does not. So much for the “automatic” setting. LOL!

I think Chickadees are the cutest little birds. That’s a good passage. I always use automatic for photos … I once tried to teach myself to manually take pictures and came home with a lot of duds – overexposed or underexposed, so I let the camera do the work. We’ll await your update. 🙂

In the winter we often see chickadees in the arborvitaes outside my kitchen window. They are fun to watch.

Yes, they are such cute little birds. I had some in the side of the house in the barberry bushes after the cardinal babies fledged, so I put a small feeder up in the Spring and put shelled peanuts it, but the squirrels in the ‘hood were quick to climb up in the barberry bushes and tip the feeder and help themselves.
