I appreciate all these words of wisdom Ruth, as a person and as a walker. As to the first quote, well, I don’t know how many times I have listened to the weather forecast, or looked at it online and taken their forecast at face value, only for it to be wrong. Now, especially since I’m so far behind in walking, I just go out with rain gear and hope for the best.

That’s right, Linda, it’s best to be prepared for the storm but go on and enjoy life instead of worrying about what might be coming.
