“Failing to plan is planning to fail.”
This quote is something my daughters would refer to as a Domism. My husband, Dom, said these words to them many, many times while they were growing up.
We took advantage of the nice weather last week and cut, split, and stacked a lot of firewood. I was tired and achy and sore but it is so worth it to have the nice cozy fire in the woodstove when the weather turns bad again.

Great planning! We have a decent supply of fire wood ready as well. You just never know when you will NEED it.

Excellent quotation, like my favourite: “If you stay ready, you don’t got to GET ready!”

My boss always tells clients this quote from Louis Pasteur: “Fortune favors the prepared mind.”

I never heard that quote until working for him either – I think it makes sense too.

MY favorite saying is “Better to have it and not need it, than to Need it and not Have it!”. ALWAYS makes my daughter’s eyes roll…kinda the same idea and Wise-Dom!

It is true and goes along with good planning. We might get some of that from our Grandmother who saved everything because she “might need it some day.” 😉

I had to grin at this quote! My brother in law is famous for saying, “Fail to plan….plan to fail.”

You know, I’ve heard about quite a few Doms online and all of them seemed like wise men.
