Hello and welcome!
Our word of the week is Wonder. As a noun Merriam Webster defines wonder as:
1a: a cause of astonishment or admiration : MARVEL b: MIRACLE
2: the quality of exciting amazed admiration
3a: rapt attention or astonishment at something awesomely mysterious or new to one’s experience b: a feeling of doubt or uncertainty
I was going to share my thoughts on the word wonder but it occurred to me that others may have said it better than I. First is Louis Armstrong as he describes a Wonder-filled or Wonderful World.
and then I join Lee Ann Womack in “‘Hoping you never lose your sense of wonder’.
Wising you all a wonder-filled week. 🙂
(I used to sing “I Hope You Dance” to my students on the last day of school every year. ❤ )

LOL. One year they all put up their index fingers and waved them slowly as if they were holding candles at a concert. 😉

That’s a tough one to tack a description too. The feeling of wonder can go so deep it touches my soul. All of your pictures made me smile , but there is absolutely nothing like a child splashing in a puddle to touch my heart.

I think the world is filled with wonder – there are wonders in science, technology, nature, art, music, people… Perhaps we see ourselves in that child splashing in the puddle.
