Hello and Welcome.
Our word of the week is Serendipity.
Merriam Webster defines Serendipity as:
the faculty or phenomenon of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for
Serendipity is a fun word to say (at least in my opinion). I seem to experience this phenomenon often – like spotting the momma deer watching her baby from a distance or witnessing a humming bird playing in the lawn sprinkler. Serendipity makes me smile.
Thanks for reading. 🙂
(make that “mention” please)

? I’m not sure what my profile picture is. I haven’t changed anything – and when I look at my profile it doesn’t show a picture.

I realize now it was your picture when I’m on Reader and I was confusing it with this picture.

I always loved the word “serendipity” and how it rolls off the tongue. I have used it in conjunction with my blog, saying that it was serendipity that made me discover Council Point Park, a mere mile from my home and I didn’t know it existed until that May day in 2013. I would love to see your Momma and baby deer you captured in this photo or the hummingbird playing in the sprinkler. I cater to Hope and where she is hiding is anyone’s guess. 🙂

It is a fun word both in saying it and experiencing it. We have had a lot of amazing experiences with baby deer this spring. Most were not captured in photo and that humming bird was just precious.

Yes it is. You’re lucky to see the baby deer in such plain view.

I haven’t used that word much in my life. It’s time to change that. 🙂
