They are forsythia. We have lilac bushes planted in between the forsythia bushes. The lilacs blossom after the forsythia. I’ve always wished the two would blossom together, but I guess this way it makes the flowering season last longer.

Ranger is top dog and figures he has some seniority over the new chicks and is feeling pretty good about that. That’s a great picture!

Thanks Melanie. We are blessed to have the farm. It is our refuge. Ranger is a happy dog – he just loves life and people.
