I see them almost daily on my walk but I have not captured a picture yet. They are way quicker than my cell phone. Someday I will carry my camera and see what I can get pictures of with it

Those birds are so pretty, I had to look up which birds are in Washington state–not the Eastern Bluebird, but the Western. I’ll have to keep my eyes open for them. Cheers!

We get them sometimes here—always such a thrill to see one!

We see them too but they are always on the move. I’m never able to get a picture.

I don’t know why the entirety of my remark doesn’t post! Anyway, Ruth, these lovely birds are in our fields! Because they eat insects (yay!), we don’t get them at the feeders.

Technology is not to be trusted – It seems to have a mind of its own. We love insect eaters! Plus they are not a threat to our berries. (YAY!) We see bluebirds now and then, but they always seem to be on the move.

I hope you do too Linda. We see them at time at the farm. I think they are the Eastern Bluebird but since they are always in motion it is difficult to see the orange on their breast. I don’t see them just sitting anywhere usually just a quick streak of bright blue flying by so no pictures either.

They put up Bluebird nesting boxes at Lake Erie Metropark, but the Swallows claimed them. One day I hope to see them.

I was reading that other birds will sometimes take over bluebird boxes.

I think the swallows are aggressive. They often sit on top of those nesting boxes like they are afraid someone will take them over – maybe the mate and babies are in there.
