Monthly Inspiration

Hello and welcome.

I apologize for being MIA for the last couple of weeks, but life has taken some twists and turns, and my focus has not been on writing. I have started a “catch-up” post and hope to have it done over the weekend (this is a three-day holiday weekend so perhaps by Monday).

For now, here is our monthly inspiration.

From my 2023 wall calendar.

*My dad gave me a new camera and I am still figuring it out. Somehow, I got the date and time stamp turned on and now I have to figure out how to turn it off.*

  1. Hopefully you are back on an even keel again Ruth and September will be a much better month for you. I like the verse and the Bluebirds. Hope you figure out how to turn the date stamp off. I’ve not had the problem, but I know you can touch something one minute and it is messed up the next with tech stuff.

    1. Thank you, Linda. We are in the process of gather information on our options for putting a house on the farm, so it is a busy time with lots to think about.
Blue birds have seemed like a theme for me this year as they have appeared several times on my calendar and we’ve seen them a lot at the farm, including the babies that apparently fledged when we weren’t around.
I have the camera instruction downloaded on my computer – just need to get time to look at them 🙂

      1. I am glad it is nothing medically related for anyone in the family Ruth – that is good news and I hope it works out for you. It seems like it was just yesterday you were excited about putting up the big red barn. 🙂 Time flies doesn’t it? I was thinking that there had been an abundance of bluebirds in the monthly calendar pages, but, bluebirds symbolize happiness and the passages are positive, so that’s likely the reason. I know how that is with reading directions and getting acclimated to “new tech stuff” – the Windows 10 laptop sits nearby, bought by my boss for work, but I love Windows 7 and it’s a pain to move everything to another computer … so here I am. I use Windows 10 at work when I remote in, so there it sits. 🙂
