Hello and welcome.
Here, in our part of Michigan, March came in like a lamb. The weather has been pleasant and spring like, so for our monthly inspiration I have selected some quotes about spring.
“Every spring is the only spring, a perpetual astonishment.”
~Ellis Peters
“In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.”
~Margaret Atwood
“Don’t wait for someone to bring you flowers. Plant your own garden and decorate your own soul.”
~Luther Burbank
“Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s Party!’”
~Robin Williams
Thanks for visiting and Happy Spring!

I love this time of year. Every time the dog comes in, I kiss the top of his head and tell him “you smell like outside.”😊

Good thing Ranger is not your dog. He had to have baths twice this week because he decided to roll in something nasty. He did smell like outside but not the enjoyable part.

I wish someone would make an air freshener that smelled like “outside in the spring”. The enjoyable part, that is!

These are great quotes Ruth! I am glad Michigan came in like a lamb and hopefully will go out like a lamb. It’s nice we now have calm weather after this week’s weather worries.

Yes, it seems the lion showed up a few days early. We didn’t have any damage but the way the temps dropped and that storm then the wind were wicked.

Yes, I was very worried both days, especially when they originally said the tornadic activity would toward the southern counties. So that was my Tuesday worry and I finally went to bed around 11:30 p.m. figuring the weather radio would alert me. Then I worried about that dead tree losing more branches and falling on the electrical wire again. I hope the guy cuts it down – he told my neighbor the treecutter wanted $15,000.00 to take it down but he has a friend who will cut it down to 9 feet above ground and only charge hm $2,000.00 … I just hope he does something with it. I hope our 71-degree day tomorrow does not cause severe weather. They are not predicting it so far thankfully.

$15,000 for one tree – that’s crazy!

I know it! See how lucky you two are to be able to clear your own lot. I hope he does the $2,000.00, cleared to nine feet above ground so my nerves don’t get worse every windstorm we get.
