Two nights ago I came to a stand still on the crochet project that I am working on because I need to get more yarn. I began looking for something small I could make in the meantime. I came across this pattern for a chicken pot holder and decided to give it a try.
It worked up really quick and I think it turned out really cute. I’m sure I will be making more.

The V area that looks unfinished is the chicken’s back. To be more realistic it should actually be a wider space between the head and the tail.

Awww, I love it!! There are so many fun chicken colors , you could use up alot of scrap yarns with these. And who doesn’t love chickens . Nicely done!

Thanks K.C. Chickens do come in many colors and color combinations. Now I’m wondering if I could make some smaller ones to use as coasters and use up even smaller “scraps”. 🙂
