I be happy if they waited until dawn. Nobody needs to be singing (chirping) at 3:30 a.m. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
That same Robin has returned to the apple tree outside your bedroom window – sigh! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Oh, how come I thought an apple tree. Oh well – whatever tree, the Robin is back and making a pest of itself. LikeLiked by 1 person
A very clever caption! Earplugs keep me blissfully unaware of morning birdsong until I’m ready for it!! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
It IS–one of the benefits of retirement! Of course, some days we have to set it, but it’s wonderful when we don’t. LikeLiked by 1 person
Someone starts singing here at daybreak. Really pretty but really loud. I’m always up so it doesn’t bother me ,but I’m pretty sure my husband would prefer not to have that wake up call. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Most amusing! I don’t hear birds at all until I go out walking. That’s when I put in my hearing aids. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
I don’t hear this one if I’m one my right side because I’m deaf in the left ear. If I’m on my left side it is loud and clear and I’m awake. 🙂 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
I love to hear the birds, but it seems like the killdeer scream all night sometimes. I don’t know when they sleep . LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
The dawn chorus—maybe they could wait until a bit later!

You turn off the bird by turning over. Neat!

Our robin starts as early as 3:00 a.m. Not a time I to choose to wake up.

Since killdeer nest on the ground they are always on defensive.
