It IS–one of the benefits of retirement! Of course, some days we have to set it, but it’s wonderful when we don’t.

Someone starts singing here at daybreak. Really pretty but really loud. I’m always up so it doesn’t bother me ,but I’m pretty sure my husband would prefer not to have that wake up call.

Most amusing! I don’t hear birds at all until I go out walking. That’s when I put in my hearing aids.

I don’t hear this one if I’m one my right side because I’m deaf in the left ear. If I’m on my left side it is loud and clear and I’m awake. 🙂

I love to hear the birds, but it seems like the killdeer scream all night sometimes. I don’t know when they sleep .

Our robin starts as early as 3:00 a.m. Not a time I to choose to wake up.
